Disconnect Your Hose From The Spigot

But it’s easy to forget about your garden hose as the weather cools and leaving it attached to the bib can be a problem. Undrained water remaining in the bib can freeze and expand during the wintertime, potentially bursting your pipes.
The best practice is to disconnect the hose from the spigot after you use it, so you don't have to worry about it later.
